Biography

Hello! My name is Mrs. Blangiardo and I will be your third grade teacher. I'm excited about the new school year! This is my tenth year teaching at Devonshire Elementary School. I have taught all ten years in third grade. Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such amazing students! Devonshire School is a great place where I truly enjoy being around such wonderful students, staff, and parents. I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also received my Master's Degree from Concordia University. My husband and I welcomed, Nathan, our first son in 2012 and our second son, John, in 2014. We enjoy every minute we spend with them! I really enjoy reading! I also love reading fantastic books to my own children. When I was your age, I would spend hours in the library. I couldn’t get enough of books! Reading is a big part of my classroom and we will learn to become better readers and writers!
