- I currently teach kindergarten. I have also taught second grade, fourth grade, and first grade.
Biography
I am married to my husband Mike. We have 3 sons, Jake, Luke and Josh.
Classroom Procedures
Homework- Homework is sent home every Monday. It is due every Friday. Typically our homework consists of a reading assignment, a math assignment, practicing a new sight word, reading a poem, and reading each night.
Library- Library check out is on Tuesdays during November. Please return library books by Tuesday so your child can get a new book. After November, our regular library day will be Friday.
Snack- Please send a healthy snack every day with your child. Our snack list is the following: fruits, vegetables, crackers, cheese, granola bars, popcorn, and pretzels.
Specials Schedule-
Monday- PE and Fine Arts
Tuesday- LRC and Fine Arts
Thursday- PE and Fine Arts
Friday- LRC and PE
Please make sure your child has gym shoes on PE days.
Every third Wednesday, Mrs. Martin has meetings. So the children have all 3 specials on every third Wednesday.
Students are encouraged to use RAZ Kids and iXL at home. RAZ kids has no password and the teacher code is bmartinaq. iXL has a password that is needed to access this math program. Please let me know if you need help using either of these websites with your child.
