Parent Tech Conference - ENGAGE 2015
Join CCSD59, District 214, and other local school districts on Saturday, November 7, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at John Hersey High School for ENGAGE 2015, a free tech conference for parents and guardians. It will showcase the new opportunities being provided to students in school.
The creativity and innovation of our teachers is rapidly advancing, allowing students to connect and learn with educators and the world like never before.
As parents and guardians, it is important to be knowledgeable of this advancing culture in order to help guide your child to success.
At ENGAGE 2015, you’ll learn how, and why, the classroom environment has adapted. Various breakout sessions will include important information on:
- Social Media in Education
- Safety with Social Media
- Google Apps for Education
- Kids Can Code – Programming for All Ages
- 21st Century Classroom Skills
- How Technology is Changing Teaching and Learning
- What is STEM/S
