Yoga and Mindfulness (breathing techniques) have been shown to not only help students’ physical health but their mental and emotional health too. Yoga can help students learn how to deal with anger, stress, and anxiety. The program is blended with nutrition instruction to help students make healthy choices during meals and snacks.

 

This year our 212 community will be incorporating physical activity and mindfulness into each school day to help our focus and well-being. Yoga will play a role in some of our physical activity time throughout the week.
